The union of employees working with European funds contests the Salary Law and accuses Minister Pîslaru: "His own minister hits the employees whose results he boasts about!"

The "MIPE Normality" Union, representing over 1,400 employees from the Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) and the Intermediate Body POCU, vehemently criticizes the draft of the Unified Salary Law, stating that it generates new inequalities and discriminations.

Union members accuse Minister Dragoș Pîslaru of humiliating his team, emphasizing that instead of bringing equity, the law extends bonuses to categories of staff that do not manage European funds. They demand clarifications regarding the logic of standardizing salary rights and warn that current salary policies risk diminishing incomes and leading to the departure of qualified personnel from the system.

The union demands guarantees that the new law will not affect employees' incomes and proposes a salary system that reflects the responsibility of managing European funds.

Employees emphasize that the loss of specialists will have direct consequences on Romania's ability to absorb European funds.
