The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) has issued a warning regarding the circulation on the internet of a deep fake clip in which Dr. Raed Arafat, Secretary of State and head of DSU, claims that he was ill with diabetes and has healed due to a so-called "revolutionary personal discovery" related to the metabolic regeneration of blood vessels and the pancreas.

MAI emphasizes that this clip contains false statements about autopsies performed by Arafat, although his specialty is anesthesia and intensive care, not forensic medicine. In the end, the clip urges users to fill out a form with personal data to purchase a "miracle" product, which constitutes an attempt at fraud. The ministry also provides advice for identifying deep fakes.
