The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Romania has issued a warning for Romanian citizens who are in or intend to travel to the Kingdom of Morocco, where the General Directorate of Meteorology has announced a red alert for precipitation for coastal locations, including Tangier, Assilah, Larache, Tetouan, Al-Hoceima, and Chefchaouen.

Romanian citizens are advised to monitor weather information and road conditions through official websites. In case of emergency, they can call the emergency number 112 in Morocco for police, ambulance, or fire services.

Additionally, the MFA provides consular assistance through the Romanian Embassy in Rabat, and citizens can contact the diplomatic mission for special situations at a dedicated emergency number.
