The Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Irineu Darău, announced on Friday the plans for the reorganization of the ministry, which involve a significant reduction in the number of positions in the organizational chart. According to his statements, management positions will be reduced by 40%, but in the first phase, there will be no layoffs. This measure aims to streamline the ministry's activities, and subsequently, an evaluation of the civil servants will be conducted to determine the need for any additional restructuring. The reorganization comes in the context of the desire to improve the institution's performance and to better respond to the needs of citizens and the business environment.
