Florin Manole requested ANPIS to check the social centers for people with disabilities

The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, declared on Facebook that he has "zero tolerance" towards the non-compliance with standards in residential social services for people with disabilities. He requested the National Authority for Persons with Disabilities (ANPIS) to initiate a national control campaign to verify the conditions in centers across the country, emphasizing that these places represent a "home" for the beneficiaries. Manole mentioned that, although ANPIS is facing a shortage of human resources, he trusts that social inspectors will act seriously. He also emphasized that people with disabilities need protection, care, and decent living conditions in these centers.
