The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced that he will send the Control Body and the Health Inspection to a private clinic where the surgeon Marek Vâlcu, known as the "celebrity surgeon", performed ENT surgeries without having the necessary specialization. He carried out interventions such as nasal turbinate resections and septoplasties, despite not holding the ENT specialization, according to an investigation. Rogobete requested the College of Physicians to take swift action in this case, considering that the information is confirmed by patients and doctors. He also mentioned that inspections at clinics continue, and a final report will be available in approximately two weeks.
