Alexandru Rogobete discussed with the World Bank about health projects, including the construction of a new adult psychiatric hospital in Bucharest

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, had an official meeting at the World Bank headquarters in Washington D.C., where he discussed with Vice President Antonella Bassani about the projects carried out in collaboration, such as the Burn Center in Timișoara, which is set to be completed this year, and those in Târgu Mureș and Bucharest, scheduled for next year. Rogobete emphasized the importance of building a new Burn Hospital for Adults in Bucharest and highlighted the strategic partnership with the World Bank and the United States. The discussions included reforms in healthcare, the digitization of the medical system, and the need for public-private partnerships for infrastructure development. Additionally, the expansion of Romania's response capacity was addressed through increasing the number of ICU beds and integrating technology for patient safety.
