Meeting between the Minister of Energy and the employees of the Oltenia Energy Complex who have fixed-term contracts

The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, met with representatives of the employees from the Oltenia Energy Complex who have fixed-term work contracts to discuss their situation and the issues related to their jobs.

The official emphasized that the ministry has maintained dialogue with the employees and the unions and has intervened to protect certain rights, including by adopting a memorandum that allowed the retention of meal vouchers for employees.

The minister reminded that the company's restructuring plan was approved as early as 2022 and that the stages of reorganization have been known for several years, having been discussed with the representatives of the employees and approved also by European institutions.
