In a neighborhood in Slobozia, Ialomița County, poles placed in the middle of the sidewalks have sparked the outrage of Mayor Alexandru Potor, who criticized the construction company for the improper work. In an intervention on Digi24, the mayor emphasized that the mistakes will not be paid for with public money, but will be borne by the responsible company.

The project, which is taking place on 10 streets, was halted before completion, and the problem was identified on a single street, where the site supervisor did not intervene in time. The mayor explained that the designer faced difficulties due to improper extensions of properties on public land, but emphasized that this does not justify the placement of poles on the sidewalk.
