The mayor Băluță confirms his poisoning with arsenic and mercury

The Mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Băluță, discussed his poisoning with arsenic and mercury, mentioning that he is still analyzing the situation. He avoided making this information public during the electoral campaign, so as not to be perceived as a victim. Băluță ruled out the possibility that the attacker is from the political world and emphasized that he is a fighter who wants to raise an alarm for others.

Regarding a possible connection to the incident in 2019, when Gabriela Firea had a surgery in which a piece of wire was found, Băluță stated that there is no connection. He confirmed that medical tests prove the reality of the poisoning and emphasized that the effects can be long-term. Băluță stated that he will provide more information when he has certainties and acknowledged that negligence can lead to such problems.
