The sanitary protective masks production line, inaugurated in April 2020 at the Dragomirești Special Products Plant, is now in conservation and characterized as a 'total loss' by the unit's director. Purchased from China, the line had a daily production capacity of 70,000 - 75,000 FFP 3 masks and 300,000 - 350,000 surgical masks. The investment was prioritized in the context of the pandemic, but now remains sealed and non-functional.
