Four days after the funeral of the legendary coach Mircea Lucescu, his family sent an open letter of thanks to all those who contributed to the organization and conduct of the funeral. The message emphasizes the support received from state institutions, sports organizations, and the teams involved, highlighting a constant wave of solidarity and support. The Lucescu family especially thanked the Romanian Orthodox Church, the Government of Romania, the Romanian Football Federation, the Romanian Police, the Romanian Gendarmerie, and other institutions for their professionalism and dedication. In the letter, the family emphasized that, despite the pain, they felt they were not alone, receiving messages and gestures of support that gave them strength.
