Florin Manole, the Minister of Labor, stated that a family with two children currently needs monthly incomes of over 10,000 lei to have a decent living. This estimate is based on an indicator called 'minimum income for a decent living', which was assessed four years ago at over 8,000 lei, but no longer reflects the current reality due to inflation. Manole emphasized the cost differences between Bucharest and other regions, mentioning that rent and daily expenses are significantly higher in the capital.
