Sebastan Ioan Hotca, the interim head of ANPC, and Paul Anghel, the general director, were heard by DNA Timișoara and placed under judicial control for abuse of office and, respectively, blackmail. Additionally, Flavius Nedelcea, state secretary in the Ministry of Economy, was detained for incitement to abuse of office. They are accused of involvement in the illegal change of the head of the Caraș-Severin County Commissariat for Consumer Protection, to satisfy political interests.
