Ioana Dogioiu, the spokesperson for the Government, announced that the issue of increasing the minimum wage is under the Prime Minister's analysis, but, in principle, no increase is expected. She made these statements after the Government meeting, mentioning that she has no information about the discussions within the coalition.

In contrast, the former Minister of Labor, Marius Budăi, stated that the minimum wage will increase next year and that the PSD will not accept violations of national and European legislation. This divergence of opinions suggests a possible tension within the governing coalition.
