The government has adopted an ordinance that increases the toll rates for the road tax and the fees for the bridges over the Danube, coming into effect in 10 days.

The new toll rates for the road tax will increase significantly, reaching 50 euros per year for cars, and the fines for not having the road tax will double. Additionally, the fees for crossing the bridges on the Danube will be raised, and the fines for not paying the toll will increase considerably. The government estimates that these measures will generate a budgetary impact of approximately 30 million euros.
