Tanczos Barna announces the approval of the flood protection plan in Praid, requesting priority funding for the works.

The UDMR Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna announced that the Government has approved the flood protection system plan for the town of Praid. This system, which includes measures to mitigate flood waves on the Corund river, was designed by water management specialists and will provide long-term protection for the community.

Tanczos Barna emphasized the importance of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Environment treating Praid as a priority, thus ensuring the necessary funding for the commencement of works this year. Additionally, he announced that next Friday there will be a presentation in Praid, where the approved investment, the schedule for the execution works, and their impact on the town's flood protection will be detailed.
