In the government meeting on December 18, 2025, it was decided to provide financial support for graduates who achieved an average of 10 in the National Assessment and the baccalaureate. Thus, each eighth-grade student will receive 2,000 lei, while those who achieved the maximum average in the baccalaureate will benefit from 5,000 lei.
The Ministry of Education reported that 85 eighth-grade graduates and 42 high school graduates achieved an average of 10, highlighting remarkable academic performances. The Minister of Education, Daniel David, emphasized that, despite fiscal constraints, the government remains committed to supporting excellence in education, noting that the education sector has overcome financial difficulties and is on a path of modernization and stabilization.
