The authorities in Brașov opened two slopes for beginners in Poiana Brașov on Tuesday, preparations continue for the advanced slopes.

On Tuesday, the authorities in Brașov announced the opening of the first two ski slopes of the season in the Poiana Brașov resort, intended for beginners: Bradul and Stadion. Representatives of the Brașov City Hall stated that both locals and tourists can now enjoy skiing on these slopes.

Meanwhile, the ski area administration is working on preparing the slopes in the upper part of the Postăvaru massif, with the aim of opening slopes for advanced skiers and snowboarders in the first days of next year. It is important to mention that the slope preparation operations were affected by the blizzard last week, and the strong winds have removed the snow, necessitating their reconfiguration.
