Roxana Mînzatu, Vice President of the European Commission, announced on a TV channel that on Thursday the 'EU strategy for quality jobs' will be launched, which focuses on protecting workers exploited due to precarious contracting. This strategy includes specific measures for Romania, with a particular emphasis on the PNRR.

A central element of the initiative is the 'skills guarantee', aimed at supporting workers in the automotive industry and supply chains who are facing restructuring. The strategy will facilitate the transition of affected employees to new roles, providing support for vocational training and temporary subsidies, thus ensuring the continuity of jobs.
