The Environmental Guard has fined the Sector 3 City Hall for unauthorized works in IOR Park, including the removal of the fence and the stripping of the asphalt.

The National Environmental Guard has imposed a fine on the Sector 3 City Hall, through the Public Domain Administration Directorate, for unauthorized works carried out in IOR Park. The inspection was conducted following reports regarding the works in the parking area on Lotrioara Street. The inspectors discovered the removal of the metal fence that separates the parking lot from the green area, as well as the stripping of asphalt over a width of approximately 80–100 cm.

Representatives of the City Hall were unable to present the necessary documents to prove compliance with environmental obligations. The Environmental Guard has imposed measures, stating that the works can continue only after obtaining the necessary permits and that the green space must be protected for the benefit of the community.
