On Sunday, the pilots of a Turkish Airlines Airbus A330 reported to air traffic controllers a drone in the vicinity of 'Henri Coandă' Airport, which led to changes in landing procedures. The aircraft landed safely, but nine other planes, including a military aircraft, were redirected to land on a runway usually used for takeoffs. Landings resumed on the main runway after about 40 minutes, and the drone was located outside the airport perimeter.
