The cubs of the bear involved in the death of a motorcyclist on the Transfăgărășan have been taken in a rehabilitation center for bears, according to the law.

After the tragic incident in which a bear killed a motorcyclist on the Transfăgărășan, the authorities acted in accordance with the law, euthanizing the bear and taking in the three orphaned cubs. They were relocated to the rehabilitation center in Zărnești, run by the 'Millions of Friends' association. The environment ministry stressed the importance of quick and legal action in such cases and will continue to monitor the situation.
