The tragic incident occurred on October 16, when the victim's son discovered the lifeless body of his 88-year-old father on a hill near their home in Bicaz-Chei. The police were alerted via a 112 call, and the elderly man's body was transported to the Neamț Forensic Medicine Service for an autopsy. An investigation has been opened for manslaughter, and sources indicate that the victim had bear attack marks on his legs.
