The couple that disappeared after a trip on Transalpina was found safe by the Salvamont team.

The couple from Bucharest, who had gone missing from their family after a camping trip on Transalpina, was found safe by a Salvamont crew.

Authorities announced that the two young people were located in the area of the Gura Apelor Dam, in the locality belonging to the commune of Râu de Mori, Hunedoara County. They are out of any danger and have not suffered any injuries.

Initial checks showed that the inability to contact the couple was due to the fact that they were in an area without coverage for mobile networks, which complicated communication with the authorities. The prompt intervention of the Salvamont crew ensured the finding of the two young people and the restoration of their safety.
