The private pension expert, George Moț, has observed an acceleration in withdrawals, with payouts nearly triple compared to the first half of the year. Additionally, Romanians are increasingly preferring staggered payments to avoid taxation on large withdrawn amounts. Another factor contributing to the rush of withdrawals is a bill currently under analysis by the Constitutional Court, which could change the rules for private pension payouts. George Moț recommends vigilance and careful analysis of the legislative situation to decide the most advantageous withdrawal option.
