Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared on Saturday, in Deva, that investment projects funded through the PNRR, which are completed but not connected to the electrical networks, could be considered received in an intermediate procedure. This legislative proposal will be formulated next week, considering that the connection is a long-term process, dependent on distributors.

Bolojan emphasized that it is abnormal for projects funded from European funds to bear financial corrections due to delays that are not the fault of the contracting authority. He mentioned that it is essential to finalize all grant projects, and discussions with the European Commission have been constructive in this regard.

The Prime Minister reminded that the deadline for completing PNRR projects is the end of August, with thousands of construction sites open in the country. Bolojan promised that he would communicate the details of the proposal to all municipalities after completing negotiations with the technical teams of the European Commission.
