The Competition Council has authorized the takeover of Honest Food SRL

The Competition Council announced that it has authorized the transaction through which Ovidiu Andrieș, Daniel Imbre, the Galea Family, and Cristian Varodi will take control of Honest Food SRL, which operates two restaurants under the name Piața 9. Ovidiu Andrieș owns a group of companies active in various fields, including the sale of fuels and restaurant operations.

Daniel Imbre controls the companies Happy Crop SRL and Motion Capital SRL, which have not generated revenue recently, while the Galea Family owns companies that have not conducted economic activity in the last three years. Cristian Varodi owns part of the capital of Honest Food SRL. The Council's analysis concluded that this economic concentration will not negatively affect competition in the Romanian market. The decision will be published on the authority's website after the removal of confidential information.
