The police of the General Directorate of Police of Bucharest, through the Violent Criminal Groups Service, carried out a large-scale operation on April 29, 2026, implementing 10 search warrants and 8 summons to bring individuals to Bucharest and Ilfov.

The operation targets 8 suspects, members of the fan group of the football team CSA Steaua Bucharest, involved in crimes of aggravated robbery and obstruction of traffic on public roads. The suspects, aged between 21 and 24, are accused of blocking a 35-year-old man in traffic on April 5, 2026, destroying his car and, through threats, depriving him of a backpack containing flags of the Dinamo team.

The operation was supported by gendarmes and is coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Court of Sector 3, with investigations continuing to gather evidence.
