Horațiu Potra, the head of the mercenaries and associate of former presidential candidate Călin Georgescu, will remain in preventive detention after the Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected his request to annul the measure. Potra, along with his son and grandson, was detained in Dubai and is in the custody of the authorities in the United Arab Emirates, who confirmed the arrest at Romania's request.
