The Bucharest Court of Appeal (CAB) announced that, in the last three years, 361 court panels have changed their composition, all these changes being justified by objective and legal reasons. The president of CAB, Liana Arsenie, published a statement intended to clarify these changes, after a documentary suggested that judges were being changed to obtain favorable decisions in corruption cases.

The analysis shows that the main reasons for the changes were the integration of new judges (144 cases), retirements (55), promotions (53), and the resumption of activity after leave (48). CAB emphasizes that these changes are part of normal human resource management and do not reflect discrimination or abuses, thus contradicting the accusations in the Recorder documentary.
