Local authorities and CNAIR announced the opening of traffic on 50 kilometers of the A7 highway, between Focșani and Adjud, on December 23. This marks the complete completion of the Moldova Highway sector in Vrancea County, allowing traffic on nearly 200 kilometers of highway between Ploiești and Pașcani.

Work began in the spring of 2022, and the Buzău - Adjud section was completed in two and a half years. Work towards Bacău and Pașcani is advanced, with a completion deadline in 2026. The former Minister of Transport, Sorin Grindeanu, emphasized the positive impact of the highway on the economic development of the region. After the opening of the Focșani-Adjud sector, it will be possible to travel on 195 kilometers of the A7, contributing to the development of Moldova.
