The 2025 Rabla Auto program had rapid success, with 80% of the additional budget of 55 million lei exhausted in just four hours from its launch, according to the Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM). This program aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by promoting non-polluting vehicles.

Although the funds for internal combustion vehicles were quickly depleted, Romanians can still access approximately 1.2 million lei for electric vehicles and over 9.1 million lei for those with thermal engines, until December 15, 2025, or until the funds are exhausted. AFM ensured that the application system operated optimally, and the application submission time was short. The program, with a total budget of 200 million lei, continues to support the transition to cleaner and more efficient transportation, contributing to environmental protection.
