Residents of Brașov and Bucharest can return packaging at selected Mega Image stores, receiving a voucher of 0.5 RON for each returned package. The pilot project, which will last 8 months, aims to collect one million packages and will analyze the data to decide on the expansion of the initiative. The accepted packaging must be clean, emptied of liquid, and have a visible barcode. This initiative is considered an important step in developing a modern collection and recycling infrastructure in Romania.
