Today marks ten years since the devastating fire at the Colectiv Club in Bucharest, which led to the death of 65 people. Andrei Găluț, the lead singer of the band Goodbye to Gravity and the only survivor of the group, made his first public appearance after the tragedy, announcing the launch of the charitable project The Memento Project. This project aims to honor the victims of tragedies in Romania through an acoustic and reorchestrated recording of two emblematic songs of the band: The Day We Die and The Cage.

Găluț explained that these songs have a profound significance, being associated with anti-corruption civic movements and his personal memories. His involvement in this project represents both a step in his recovery process and a plea for resilience. The funds raised from the exploitation of the video and the songs will be donated to the Association 'In the Name of Alexandru', dedicated to the memory of the young Alexandru Hogea, who died due to infections contracted in Romanian hospitals.
