A biology teacher from Iași County was ordered by the court to pay 3,600 lei to a student after allegedly assaulting him during class. The incident occurred 3 years ago, but the verdict was only recently given. According to the investigation, the teacher became angry due to the noise in the classroom and hit the student with her fist, then grabbed him by the cheek. The boy's parents, noticing the signs of violence, filed a complaint. The court found her guilty of abusive behavior, but the sentence is not final and can be appealed. In the meantime, the teacher has retired.
