Police in Bucharest caught a man suspected of fraud in the act, who allegedly received 10,000 lei from a total estimated damage of 110,000 lei. During the intervention, a professor near the suspect was brutally restrained by agents after he refused to identify himself and exhibited evasive behavior.

The police explained that the man's attitude raised suspicions, which is why he was asked to remain at the scene. Since he attempted to leave the area and resisted being restrained, the police decided to handcuff him. It was later established that the professor was not involved in the crime, and the measures against him were not continued. The police maintained that the intervention was legal and justified, considering the available information and the man's behavior. The main suspect was detained for 24 hours, and investigations continue under the supervision of the case prosecutor.
