In a new nationwide campaign, the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) is asking organizers of events, including weddings and christenings, to declare their income and pay taxes. Authorities suspect that many parties are being held "in the black" without being reported. The ANAF is asking for detailed information on the type of event, the price of the menu, the number of participants and the method of payment. The aim is to reduce tax evasion and bring more money into the state budget.
