Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate have been sent to trial for human trafficking, ongoing money laundering, ongoing sexual acts with a minor and influencing statements, respectively complicity in human trafficking, ongoing money laundering and influencing statements.

“By the indictment dated 31.08.2026, prosecutors from the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism Offenses – Central Structure ordered the committal for trial of 2 defendants, both British citizens, aged 39 and 38, members of the same family, for committing the offenses of human trafficking, ongoing money laundering, ongoing sexual acts with a minor and influencing statements, respectively complicity in human trafficking, ongoing money laundering and influencing statements,” DIICOT announced on Friday.
