The executive management of TAROM, including the general director Bogdan Costaș, has been revoked from their position, according to Digi24 sources.
The decision is said to have been made due to misunderstandings related to the company's budget and the management's requests to double their salaries, reaching up to 65,000 lei gross.
This revocation comes against the backdrop of a long-standing conflict with the former Minister of Transport, Anca Boagiu, but also for other reasons. Among the criticisms directed at the management are the lack of necessary changes for TAROM's budget, which led to the blocking of the approval process. Additionally, the management reportedly failed to identify solutions for the company's current issues.
So far, TAROM has not provided an official statement regarding these events.
