TAROM has announced the launch of a codeshare partnership with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), thus expanding international connectivity for its passengers. This agreement allows flights from Bucharest to destinations such as Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm, with stopovers through major hubs like Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, and Prague. Bogdan Costaș, the general director of TAROM, emphasized that this partnership enhances the travel experience, offering unique tickets and simplified check-in for luggage.

Tickets for flights operated under the codeshare arrangement are available from February 3, for flights starting on February 9, 2026. Passengers will benefit from services such as priority check-in and boarding, access to SkyTeam lounges, and mileage accumulation in loyalty programs. TAROM, founded in 1954 and a SkyTeam member since 2010, collaborates with SAS, a reference company in Scandinavia, to provide an extensive network of destinations and a more comfortable travel experience.
