Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete has announced that two people hospitalized at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases 'Matei Balș' in Bucharest have symptoms suspected of anthrax, the diagnosis will be confirmed by laboratory tests. The patients consumed sheep meat from their own household. Samples are being taken at the 'Cantacuzino' Institute and the authorities are monitoring the situation and working with health professionals to prevent the spread of the infection.
