A survey conducted by BCR and Unlock Market Research shows that eight out of ten Romanians consider money as the main reason for quarrels in a couple.

According to the survey, 65% of respondents rate planning money for the unexpected as their most pressing desire, and 74% of couples say they put money aside. Also, 80% manage the family budget through a joint discussion, but 36% have withheld financial information from their partner.
