The students from the 'Emil Racoviță' National College in Cluj-Napoca had an exceptional journey at the NextLabTech robotics competition, edition 2025, taking the top five places in the basic line-follower category. A group of nine sixth-grade students worked for five months within the robotics club to reach the finals, held on November 1. At the awards ceremony on November 7, they were rewarded with medals, diplomas, and cash prizes from the Ministry of Education, totaling amounts between 300 and 1,000 lei.

Director Adrian Magdaș emphasized the students' achievements, highlighting the involvement of parents and the creation of a dedicated room for the robotics team. Volunteer parent Sergiu Crișan mentioned the team's cohesion and the valuable experience gained through participation in the competition. Among the 130 qualified students, outstanding performances were achieved by Elena Betea, Albert Nistor, Alex Betea, and others, who demonstrated remarkable skills in robotics. Additionally, two colleagues who did not have technical success gained valuable experience for future competitions.
