A group of students from Bistrița-Năsăud was physically assaulted by a man disturbed by their noise, the incident taking place in a hotel in Deva.

A serious incident occurred on Tuesday evening in a hotel in Deva, where several students from Bistrița-Năsăud County, who were on a trip, were physically assaulted by a 42-year-old man from Cluj County. The man, staying in the same hotel, felt disturbed by the noise made by the students and reacted violently.

An employee of the hotel called emergency services at 112 to request police intervention. Upon their arrival, the teacher and the class leader confirmed that the students had been assaulted around 00:35. The Deva Municipal Police opened a criminal case for the offense of assault or other violence.
