The Ministry of Education has announced that scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year will be granted to students starting from November 20, according to the official methodology. Payments will continue monthly, on the 20th of each month, and students will receive the amounts corresponding to September and October. The merit scholarship has an amount of 450 lei, varying depending on the number of school days, while social and technological scholarships are 300 lei per month. A special aid of 700 lei per month will be provided to minor mother students to prevent school dropout. The scholarships are funded from the budget of the Ministry of Education, with an estimated allocation of over 4 billion lei for 2025, ensuring financial support for hundreds of thousands of students.
