A 16-year-old student was beaten and threatened with a knife by an 18-year-old in the courtyard of the Media Technical College in Bucharest.

On May 26, in the courtyard of the Media Technical College in Bucharest, a violent incident occurred between a 16-year-old student and an 18-year-old young man, who was not a student of the high school. He threatened the victim with a 30 cm blade and began to hit him with his hands in the face area, in front of classmates. Prosecutors say the attack stemmed from jealousy, following a past relationship that the aggressor's girlfriend had with the attacked boy.

The incident was captured by surveillance cameras, and the assaulted student later requested medical assistance. The police apprehended the aggressor, who will be presented to the judges with a proposal for preventive detention for 30 days, being accused of assault, carrying dangerous objects, and disturbing public order.
