Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete said that strict measures will be implemented to combat fictitious hospitalizations in hospitals, including the termination of employment for the doctors involved. The evaluation of hospital managers will also be revised, with the introduction of new indicators adapted to current needs, as the existing ones have not been updated since 2007. The performance of heads of department will also be assessed, and they will have to take responsibility for the team they manage.
