At a debate organized by PNL, Stelian Tănase launched a harsh attack against the liberals, stating that they have allowed themselves to be 'subservient' to former president Klaus Iohannis, going to 'lick the clans' to obtain positions. Tănase emphasized that PNL has become a 'second-rate presidential party' and called for a critical analysis of actions from the last ten years. He highlighted the mistakes made by the party and questioned how the liberals reacted to orders coming from Cotroceni. Tănase demanded the removal from the party of those responsible for these decisions, arguing that their weaknesses will lead to the repetition of compromises. His criticism was a call for responsibility and cleansing of PNL from harmful members.
