In the wake of the devastating floods, Raed Arafat said a state of alert will be put in place in Broșteni, Suceava, to allow for the rapid implementation of relief solutions, including food, water and accommodation. More than 111 people have been evacuated and 202 firefighters are on the scene, with more planned. Neamț County Council has approved the allocation of a reserve fund of 300,000 lei to support those affected, waiving funding for local events in order to prioritize aid.
